Hi Dont mention it. You mean how would you say the phrase according to vowel marks.... Let's have an example Ex: My mother is a housewife. In Arabic (Modern Standerd)it would be {Ummy Rabat(O) Bayte(N) } The 1st word is ended by KASRAH The 2nd is ended by DAMAH The 3rd is ended by KASRAH with TASHDEED
Good Luck Ahmed

Be careful, since he got already once upset with you because you are chatting with other guys on the net....... he could have another chance to be jealous and question where you have all this vocabulary from.

Come on, Samia, be nice. Karla already had once problems before with her boyfriend because someone translated her beautiful words into something bad - and it hit her hard.

I don't get your comment - my question was serious. I noticed that some people always address me in the male form, my bauwab always does it, for example, and I'd really like to know the reason for that.
FYI - it's "such a long nose".

LOL ... I was sure someone would make that kind of comment. But I can assure noone would ever mistake me for a man.
On a serious note - someone told me that whenever a khawaga shows up in an Egyptian movie or on TV he / she usually speaks very bad Arabic and only knows the male form of words, thus many people assume that's the way to address a foreigner. That's a reasonable explanation but I'm wondering if there are any other reasons ...

Addressing a woman in the male form happen in Egypt specially in love talk, flirting and songs as for male form with forigners, I guess some Egyptians may find male form will be easier to understand. In Egyptian movie usually the western women speak in female form even to men, and this has some truth between those who can't make the distinction ,they address both women and men in the same way they are addressed by a
