Do you know what the new import tax rates are?
I heard they are down to 30%.
Do you know any details on that? Is it for used cars or only new ones?

hey cairo student,the custom rate went down only for th separate parts of cars ,the only one who get the benefit of it is the car dealer who put the cars together here in egypt..but the imported cars it depends on the capacity of the motor ,how many litres..about the old cars egypt dont allow any old cars to get in except for them trip tik cars other wise you will have to pay a fine much more than what the car cost hre in egypt. i wish i provided ya with what ya wanted to know.. salam
