While Egyptians suffer to find breads, high ranking officials spend hundres of thousands and milions of pounds, on the football playrs to win goals, why do not they spend it to build more bakeris, and to make the bread available???????

Unfortunately it is like so many countries. The people in power don't want for anything. They like the prestige of their country winning at sports or whatever, while the poor are allowed to rot, with no future. It's about the glory being seen in the outside world. Very sad but true.

Pure spring, Egypt does have enough bakeries it's just that wheat has increased in price.

And the money for basic needs like bread is coming out of a different pot than the money for recreation.

Egypt does have an excellent football team and believe it or not many Egyptians would have denied to eat bread for a day just to see their favourite team win. These poor Egyptians don't have much in their lives to look forward too in reverse to the richer ones but one thing they all have in common is the pride for their country and the love for football.
