Any one has an idea:

Do I need to pay custom duties if I bring a desktop PC (CPU) through Cairo airport? Or would it be treated the same way as a laptop?
If customs are to be paid, any idea how much on a $800 CPU?

Thanks

If in your luggage and you don't declare it, I doubt they would even know about it much less care.

I have a desktop PC which is extremely small, so I always carry it back and forth to Egypt in my hand luggage. I've never been requested to pay customs on it. But even if you bring in a bigger CPU, I doubt anyone would care.
