"In light of Egypt's revolution, the sudden cancellation of the annual Cairo International Book Fair came as a disappointment to a million visitors, as well as to the booksellers and publishers who attend the Book Fair from year to year.
The AUC Press strongly believes in the cultural and intellectual significance of the Cairo International Book Fair, and will therefore host a Book Fair on the AUC Campus on Tahrir Square: The Tahrir Book Fair.
The Tahrir Book Fair will include thousands of titles from Egypt and abroad, and will also feature author signings, panel seminars, forums, special receptions, and entertainment."
Admission is free Thursday, March 31 - Sunday, April 3, 2011 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. AUC Tahrir campus, downtown
