Hey, I finally got myself a copy of the following book:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Too-Rich-William-Stadiem/dp/1898259410

I started reading through the first two chapters and I am fascinated about the pompous and scandalous lifestyle he led in Egypt, how he had to leave Egypt and rush into into exile.

I wonder what would have happened to Egypt if the revolution led by the Free Officers Movement in '52 would never had occurred.

Also Cairo and Alexandria must have looked so much more splendid, cosmopolitan and cleaner than today.
