When it says 'don't use on the face' for bodyhair removing cream, DON'T. I can't go out today without a brown paperbag on my head
I guess it applies to men too

Reminds me of a lady I knew who worked in the complaints department of Elizabeth Arden. She received a complaint from a lady who said the hair removing cream didn't work. She ate it on crackers everyday and the hair was still there!!!!

Young at heart is that a true story?
Oldbag also take care with Immac or whaever it is called for facial hair, a friend of mine used it too close to her lips and burnt them, leaving them with cold sores when they were healing!!

Yep, it's a true story! Obviously the reason why you get what seem like blindingly obvious warning notices, 'Not to be eaten' on things these days.

Yes, manufacturers have to protect themselves against possible legal lawsuits of some dumb customers!

Well the face has cleared up but the hair's back - all that pain for nothing. I'm gonna stick to the tried and trusted razor from now on

Oldbag you need to wax it will take longer to grow back and over time will become more sparse if you continue to shave in time you will end up with a five o'clock shadow and stubble - plz go and have a wax

OH MY.... aren't you a gentleman?
Oldbag, I think if you shave it regularly it will might just grow back and even more.
Please consult a specialist, you can get this hair removed now and it will never return.

Just use a strip of wax (facial wax-strips). Leave it on for 5 seconds, pull!! and you will have a baby face for 4 weeks. Or indeed; consult a specialist.

Exactly what is wrong with HAIRY LOVE?? are men really fussing about hair?? Who cares???
I explained carefully to my husband that sometimes indeed I would look like a monkey, meaning that sometimes I just can't be bothered with all the beauty stuff.
Besides women, haven't we come further than this? Always dolling us up? Is our self worth not more than that? Love your hair!! Why not???

It is all about gender blurring! My MIL for example almost had a heart attack when she discovered that I don't have pierced ears, she must have thought me too masculine because of that. Then I will just comment: So what about David Beckham?

I'm with you Oldbag i cannot live with body hair. My philosophy is apart from hair on your head and eyebrows tke it all off. It is a personal thing that i do not feel clean with body hair - just one of my little foibles sorry guys!
P.s i'm not that keen on hairy men either - well depedant upon where the hair is and whether it is kept short.

Look out for someone who does threading when you come here, much less painful than waxing or sugaring.

I broached the subject of waxing with my fiancee, he was horrified He stated that 'MEN do not wax, unless for competitive sport' i told him that many men in England wax, he stated that they must be gay ha ha He says men should be hairy, the good thing is that he keeps it trimmed so i can 'bare' it. But i was amused at his reaction to the suggestion

There are people that do threading here in the states as well. I think there are 5 or 6 shops not far from where i work, i frequently go to the one nearest, quickest, best way to get rid of all facial hair and usually to do the whole face is about 25$, i do the eyebrows once every 2 weeks or so for 8$ and then the whole face once every 2 months.
