Living in the UK for the rest of my life is not a definite. If he came here and felt he couldn't live here for whatever reason, then I would consider it. Although I'm not sure I could find a job in Egypt that easy. I guess you have the same problems with the North/South divide of the UK... it's just a bigger scale!
