Yes I know its going to be close to immpossible to find a job here in cairo, me being only sixteen years old and American.
I've been looking for a job for so long, something to occupy my time. I'm going to be here in cairo for two more years studying the language ( im studiying Linguistics ). Anyway besides learning arabic I have nothing else to do. I decided that getting a job is probably the best thing for me instead of hanging out in malls all day long.
If anyone is willing to give me a job, doesnt really matter what it is as long as its no underground porn stuff then ill probably jump right on to it.
Im not looking for high pay, just something for me to do during the day/late afternoon time.
Thanks.

Have you ever thought that you could work as a volunteer? If you are not looking for high money why don't you give English lessons to refugees for example? If you need contacts, I can give you some. It's a shame that you feel bored when you could be useful for many people... Think about it. Emi

is it really? i thought babysitting was considered, like, a bad idea (for the baby sitter). My parents never let me, they didnt like the idea of me A) being in a strangers house and B) all the liabilities that go with it. I've also heard alot of stories from friends of some fishy buisness between the husband of the family and the baby sitter.
