Didn't someone try to kill the first Pepi? I believe the harem women wanted him dead,so he let Weni investigate the crime. I still need to learn more about the early 5-8 dyansties because these dyansties are simply a fog to me.

That's the question. What's the real story behind the murder of Teti, the ascension of Userkare the throne and the plot against Pepi I? Are these three distinct events?
