Sorry about the 2nd one those were the only good pics I could find.
But be the judge, who looks more like the ancient king?
Definately the first guy even though he has West African ancestry. If course Akhenaten was probably much shorter and thinner than that actor...

Rashad Haughton, definitely... Playing Devil's Advocate here, compare these two pictures... wrong color? yeah, most likely! but which would Hollywood be more likely to cast?

Depends if you believe Akenaten had marfan syndrone which left him disfigured. Some people contend he was healhty. Question is who would play Queen Tiye and his children? My personal opinion is that a rural Upper Egyptian should play Akenaten.
Hollywood is most likely to cast Nicolas Cage based on actiing ability. Know if you look closely at the photo and the chin of Cage and Akenaten there is not much similarity. Cage also has much thinner lip definition than Akenaten. Plus look at the cheek bones of Akenaten vs. Cage. Superfically there might be similarities but I am not seeing it.

Hmm, interesting but I'd have to agree with Ausar on everything. I definitely do not see the facial likeness/similarities.
Tried to find younger pics of him, which shows him with a slimmer face and more pronounced cheek bones, but was not able to find them--sorry
