Again, blonde hair wasn't a common trait in the Balkans and most depictions show him as dark haired. This reminds me, that a friend of mine saw the movie 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' and was somewhat suprised about how "dark" the Greeks were, she thought (from all the media) that Greeks were of the 'whiter' type. :o Go figure.
