@ The folks, living in Egypt,i was just wondering is there a shop or resturant that is own by the same family since pharoanic times?or a least greco-roman times?,I was just having a conversation with a potter who makes pottery for the high end markets, and he told me that his family is in the business for 700yrs,that they brought a certain technique from China to Japan 700yrs ago,and that it is not uncommon to have family business that goes back alot futher than that.so being that compared to Egypt,Japan is just a baby,is possible that there are family shops, resturants, inns that go back that far enough so they were around in aleast the greco-roman times.
