Anyone know if the quote below appears in the 1991 edition of Barry Kemp's book? It's in the 2006 version.
'If one is obliged to reconstruct an ancient Egyptian scene, even to engage modern people to act parts in it, the most honest course is to use the modern population as a guide. It will not be exactly right, for the processes responsible for change and variation in the population had another two thousand years to run before today, much more if one's drama is set when the pyramids were built. But any other course of action is likely to be more wrong' (p58).

back then you said:

DNA Tribes is a private company selling tests they had said ancient Egyptians had greatest affinity to South Africans, Great Lakes Africans and to a lesser degree West Africans, these bring the top 3 and much less to North African, Horn Africans and others
DNA Consulatants another private testing company said Egyptian Copts have a strong affinty to the ancient Egyptians:

Oh I see what you are getting at an earlier edition 1991 I tried to find it couldn't I think it might go back to 1989 That paragraph might not appear in the 1991, I don't know I didn't see it in the 1989. Not sure if it's the same as per not having that statement
