Usually, female Egyptian subjects are painted either yellow (as in Old and Middle Kingdom art) or a shade of mahogany brown similar to their male counterparts (e.g. some New Kingdom art). I haven't seen too many AE portrayals of women that had a [i]naturally[/i] pale orange look. So if the Berlin bust was supposed to depict a pale orange complexion in life, it would be unusual in that respect. [/QB][/QUOTE]
