Just compare the media promotion of Abusir to Tut and Nefertiti's ancestry test. The 'extreme' argument is mostly correct. Its usually someone like Sara Suten Seti calling pale arabs/turks or Europeans invaders. Arabians invaded Egypt at least twice with Turks once.
