My guess is that the Andamanese were blended (or ancestrally rooted in) Namakwa KhoiSan and Aka Pygmies, since many tribes in the Andamans had Aka in their names, which I haven't found in other Asian Pygmies. Although physically Pygmy-sized, their architecture was completely different than other Pygmies; lean-tos of (pinnate) Ailanthus leaves, most similar to temporary shelters of the Punan/Penan of Borneo. Note: I think that Aurochs (wild cattle) of Europe were named for their Ice Age orange/fluffy winter coats - Aur/orange-aurah-aurat(Arab) + och/ox. Kalahari kala sun/day [/QB][/QUOTE]
