First King David is GOD's Begotten Son: "I (David) will declare the decree: the LORD had said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. (The King James Version Bible, Psalm 2:7)"
In this verse, we clearly see how GOD Almighty loved King David so much, that he chose him to be His begotten Son.
The importance of King David in the Bible and to Christians and Jews:
1- King David was called "God's begotten son" in psalm 2:7 as shown above.
2- Christians call Jesus "Son of David", not meaning a biological son, but rather a son in a respectful way. To respect Jesus, they call him "son of David" i.e. David is good and respectful. See Matthew 1:1, Matthew 9:27, Matthew 12:23, Matthew 15:22, Matthew 20:30-31, Matthew 22:42, and many other verses.
3- David's Star is the Jews' holy symbol just like the Cross is the Christians' holy symbol.
Knowing the above facts, let us examine King David and fornication in the Bible:

(She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home."

Maybe Ayisha can help us out on this one. She accepts and reads the Bible I believe. If I'm wrong I'm sure she will correct me.
I'm sure the Quran totally disagrees with this incident. Islaam would never make such a claim about a Prophet.
Ayisha, is these the type of Biblical stories we Muslims should believe are true and be taught to our Muslim children?

Sands, different place and time. Women were posessions, still are to some. David was King, he took what he wanted and God didnt like it.
Your concubines and booty of war slaves could be married too.

How's that different from Muhammad's xxx stories?
Why the fact that Muhammad had sex with a multitude of women, some his wives, some his maids, some his right hand possessions (captives of war) and some his concubines does not seem perverted to you?
Why the fact that Muhammad assassinated his opponents, massacred his prisoners of war, had sex with a 9 year old child, raided merchant caravans, invaded unarmed civilians does not hurt your sensibility?
May be you would do a favor to yourself to ponder upon the following hadith and ask yourself; doesn’t this make Muhammad a lecherous womanizer?

Bukhari Vol.1 Book.6, Number.299 'Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and start fondling her." 'Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet could."
Allah seemed to be too keen to meet the sexual needs of his beloved messenger:
33.50 O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

The OT records what humans are like - and we are sinful. It was not written for us to imitate; we are never told to imitate this type of behaviour.
The Biblical account of David's sin is mostly concerned with the cover-up of adultery, which expanded to include conspiracy and murder. It also tells of the unmasking of sin by a prophet of God, and finally about the king's repentance and restoration. So the bulk of the story concerns what happens after David commits adultery with Bathsheba.
It's recorded in only five verses, but in these verses there is a subtle description of how someone with David's history-his greatness of heart, his many years of knowing God's faithfulness, his courageous willingness to step out and trust God-how David, the man after God's heart, allowed himself to descend to the place where he was taking to bed the wife of his good friend. There are important lessons to learn here.
Their act of immorality, and the subsequent murder of Uriah, would break the heart of God, and almost destroy the very kingdom he had given to David. As for David, although God would forgive him, his life would be hideously scarred forever.

Psalms 2 is referring to the Messiah, you err in thinking it was referenced to King David, Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. The key is in Verse 2 where it refers to the anointed, that is the Messiah, King David was not the Messiah. Or why would King David have not redeemed Israel during his time? The Messiah is the one spoken of throughout this passage.

There you go again! Twisting and switching the darn subject. The topic at hand is Kind Daivd seeing a woman bathing, inquiring about her, knowing that she is married and shags her..we later find out it was so good he killed her husband. A Prophet (King David) committing adultery and murder!
So don't go trying to switch the tope to our beloved Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wassalaam. Again if you want to adress that do it in a separate i.e. new thread.
