Hold it right there, folks. I may have a few issues with Jon Stewart, but his generally on-the-mark observations about the condition of America's body politic is not one of them. What Baumgartner and Morris should have asked these kids was, can your vote actually count if there is no clear paper trail from the electronic machines?
These kids are savvy enough to have read a great deal on line about vote fraud, and how it has poisoned the well of the last several elections, bigtime.
It is obvious that Stewart is being set up as the villain here, when the real villain is the absolute lack of accuracy of voting results, given the document huge potential for eletronic tampering with these machines.

when you have a close election smuckers someone always screams fraud. Obviously we have had that since the beginning of the republic but there is no 'conspiracy' as some like to imagine on either side.

I had a teacher like that, once, in 7th grade who liked to imply that people are the where they are only because of themselves. I think it was during the 9/11 year.
People like that make you wonder what their response would be if you slapped them upside the face.
I know the response already: It was their own fault for invoke my anger and being in the way of my hand.

what a bunch of nonsense. I believe in opportunity for all people of every race and creed. That said, opportunity is the key word. The rewards of society should go to those with the most talent who do not shy away from hard work regardless of who they are. In terms of academics I encourage everyone to gain as much knowledge as they can. Here on egyptsearch we have many bright young people who make some excellent points that I enjoy reading. We also have some who are obsessed by race and want to promote a form of Voodoo schoarship that sees the world as a racial struggle.
