Hi Guys,

Just reading a book about the House of Saud, makes very interesting reading! What a set up!

What do you think will be the future for the House of Saud? How long can they get away with the corruption? What will be the straw to break the camels back?

The author of this particular books claims that Saudi is playing Syria off against Egypt and vice versa with a divide and rule policy as a way to ensure Saudi remains powerful. How true do you think this is?

America stays silent on this and many will agree it's due to oil, but do you think that America has another plan? Do they have an alternative strategy, maybe sitting, watching and waiting for the House of Saud to "self destruct"? Or do you think they are "content" with the current structure because they have some level of control over it? What would happen if the House of Saud did collapse? Would there then be a "proper" Islamic state established in Saudi Arabia? Who would rule... Bin(and got)La(i)den and his mob, (Waste)Bin Bush or (Rubbish)Bin Blair? [Big Grin] Do you think we just have to wait for Prophet Isa (PBUH) to return and sort them out? [Big Grin]

Why target in only on America? Like somehow America owes the world its services as supreme superpower. America is thee supreme superpower because so many non-American news agencies rely on using that term in order to gain viewers.

NSIC, remember which government put the house of saud in power?

Its the same government who enforced the British Mandate in Palestine.

Overturn these colonial orders and the House of Saud and Israel has no more legitimacy.

The ball has always been in Britian's court, legally & diplomatically.

This book (so far) has mainly been addressing Americas role in the issue. I'll let you know if old Balfour shows up in the coming chapters [Big Grin]

I wasn't aiming to open a debate for who played the biggest part (Britain/America), I just wanted to see what the views were of people on ES regarding the future for Saud. I would especially be interested to know what Arrow thinks... ES's very own Washington Correspondent [Big Grin]

Anyway, what do you think Sono? You seem to have quite strong views with regards to Saudi.

Yeah I have strong opinions in regards to the House of Saud.

The tribe these "royals" reside from are not the most pristine bunch. They purposefully jumped at the chance to hand over their fate and decision making to the imperialists and then got the Heshamites to do the same.

The agreements made by "King Saud" over a hundred years ago has had far reaching repurcussions for the region.

First there isn't supposed to be any form of "royalty" within Islam, and this Saud tribe cannot trace their lineage back to the Final Prophet (PBUH). But there were a number of executions and assinations of people who could fill the role of the Caliphate in Arabia during this time. Its a shame because when the Ottoman Caliphate was ending it could've been reborn back in Arabia.

This "royal" line is the epitomy of stagnation of Muslim dominate nations. Not saying they should be removed, but in due time when God is willing to make his/her presence and intentions known in the Holy Lands, this fake kingdom will have to be purged of this false royal family.

If it wasn't for King Saud, Palestine might have been better spoken for and Israel might have never been!

If you have read " "The Battle for Saudi Arabia" and a few other history books on KSA which includes references from the "British Royal Archives". One very nice thing about the British is they kept intricate records of all diplomatic colonial relations over the last few centuries.

There's a paper trail, just blame the british if you don't want to believe it!

All meetings with King Saud were transcripted and saved for prosperity sake. [Wink]
