Muslim radicals recruited to terrorism in Britain and Europe were labelled a major threat to US national security last night.
The US homeland security secretary, Michael Chertoff, singled out extremists who have been radicalised in Britain as a danger to America. A report compiled by US security chiefs on the threat to their homeland concluded that British-based Muslims would regard "the use of violence here as legitimate".
The findings will reinforce efforts by the US government to tighten up visa controls. Mr Chertoff is calling for visitors from the European Union who enter the US via the visa waiver scheme to register their personal details 48 hours before taking a transatlantic flight.

Oh I am not going to come down on you Rummy, I consider the source. You'll be saying the exact same things about the next President soon enough and like now, nobody will pay attention to you.

President Bush has not done that Tibe, American foreign policy has done that. The obsession some of you have with the President is insane. George Bush does not make American foreign policy. He cannot just wake up some morning and decide to do something. Foregn policy in any nation is made by hundreds of people from all walks of life. There is broad support in the American foreign policy establishment for what we are doing in the middle east. We also have the support of almost all Europeans governments on the broad issues. What some guy on the street in Copenhagen thinks is not important.

Maybe i should have said the policy of his regime insted. I dont know where you get the idea of all that support from other countries???? Maybe some politicians has given their support to the US and the way the handle the middle east but thoose politicians will be "punished" in the next elections. the 2 biggest countries in EU doesnt support US (Germany and France) and Russian do defently not either. There has been civilprotest allover Europe against US actions in the middle east. maybe you wasnt aware of that - limited freedom of speech/press freedom in the US?????????
