Sharia law may say that it is forbidden for a man to have any physical contact with a woman to whom he is not related to, but let's not forget that Sharia is synonymous with fundamentalist Islam..stonings, floggings, oppression of women etc. Even Muslims themselves reject Sharia (the moderate ones), perhaps Ms Obama was thinking that he was dealing with a moderate Muslim. (Indonesia is supposedly a moderate country).

Well that was my point. Obama is very well aware of the Muslim culture hence he lived for several years in this very same country But it seems he was a bad adviser to his wife.
