Several lives could have been saved in Arizona if more of the people there had been armed. While gun sales are reaching record high levels we still have a ways to go.

Gold, the data is the data. Why do you you think all of these states are expanding gun righs, eve blue states. the more guns owned by the public the lower the crime rates. I understand that interferes with your view that the government should micromanage our lives bbut it is the case all the same. Hammer, what the data actually says thats important, is that WHITE MALES have the greatest tendency of all others, to shoot themselves in the head using their own guns. Now, why in the HELL would I willing wish to approve arming the psychologically ill? You White boys have absolutely no sense of responsibility, or ability to effectively analyze Cause & Effect, or risk mitigating, Trade-Off Analysis. Why would any SANE person wish to empower and arm a MOB of defectives blindly hoping for some form of balance. Dr John Lott of the unoversity of Chicago has done all of the recent research that states are using to expand gun ownership. Almost every state understands that the police cannot protet individuals from violent crime and that self protection is a key to freedom. That you would inhect race into the issue is bizarre. People of all races have second amendment rights and should be able to protect themselves.

As you can clearly see South Carolina which has lax gun regulations is number 1. Texas comes in at 15. And states with stricter gun regulations are lower on the list. Check out NY, Vermont, Main.
