Take a serious look at the agenda and candidates for the Green party in 2012. Try to resist the urge for immediate gratification and retrain to think, LONG TERM. The folks who groom and present these candidates (Dem/Reb) plan in 20-40 year cycles, minimum. Voters should at least learn to think/plan in 8-12 year cycles.
Look closely at getting a Green Candidate in place to create a Three (3) party system. There is never any good outcome from monopolies.

And Other than Obama not doing what some wanted him to do what is your specific complaint against him? Are you saying Obama screwed up the economy and that it wasn't on its when he took office?
If Obama brought all troops home this very day do you think the U.S.'s economy would improve to a significant degree?
A few suggestions to help the econmy:
I do think bringing the troops home would help the economy.
I read that we have more of our citizens in prison than any other country in the world. That's alarming and a big expense. So lets clean the prison system out.
quote: As of January 2010[update], the annual salary of each Representative is $174,000.[17] The Speaker of the House and the Majority and Minority Leaders earn more: $223,500 for the Speaker and $193,400 for their party leaders (the same as Senate leaders). A cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) increase takes effect annually unless Congress votes to not accept it. Congress sets members' salaries; however, the Twenty-seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits a change in salary (but not COLA[18]) from taking effect until after the next general election. Representatives are eligible for lifetime benefits after serving for five years, including a pension, health benefits, and social security benefits.[19]
Senators and congress are mostly millionaires. Lets cut their pay by 100,000. each. That would give us over $50,000,000.00 that we could find a better use for.
I would tax corporations the same as individuals... they have the same rights as individuals... tax them the same $$$.
quote: "(F)or better or worse, Citizens United held that there is no distinction between an individual and a corporation with respect to political speech," U.S. District Judge James Cacheris wrote in his 52-page opinion. "Thus, if an individual can make direct contributions within (the law's) limits, a corporation cannot be banned from doing the same thing."...
..."Corporate political speech can now be regulated, only to the same extent as the speech of individuals or other speakers. That is because Citizens United establishes that there can be no distinction between corporate and other speakers in the regulation of political speech," they said in written arguments.

Hey Melanin, if you're so against Obama, follow your own advice and and research the candidates yourself. As you know dirt settles. Obama and his ilk will surely find their correct place in this election, according to your logic.
The worthy opponents will surely set themselves apart from the dreck and debris. After all, cream always rises to the top, does it not????!!!
Palin and Bachmann should fit your needs. I know they would appreciate an enthusiastic booster like you. You would add a lot to either of their campaigns.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
