Hello I wondered if anyone could please help with a recipe for what I think is called Fitiir? Its like a cross between bread pancake and filou pastry made in layers and I reckon very fattening
Ive been off my food so long and I just fancy some. My sister in law used to make it and send it to me but UK is too far to send! My husband has asked her for the recipe, but to be honest I cant understand what the hell he is telling me it is.
If anyone knows how to do this or where to find recipe I would be very happy. Ive done loads of searches but cant find it. thanks

If you live near London, there is a great Egyptian resturant that has some in Edgeware Road. My husband always gets it.

Thanks for your replies. I will try Edgeware Rd Happybunny. I go often to visit my son there. I have just had this as plain, like a bread pancake, but obviously there are lots ways to have it. Im wondering now if this is what they called Sweet Pizza which I had in Dahab few times (oops) very fattening if not careful. After the few months Ive just had Im off to my house in Egypt soon for recovery so maybe I can get a recipe then. Thanks again
