if it is baking powder it would go in the cake ...not the icing... .i thought you asked it for icing?

Ingredients:

* 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese
* 1 tablespoon warm water
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Preparation:
Beat cream cheese with water and vanilla; gradually add sugar, beating until smooth and spreading consistency. Makes 1 1/2 cups, enough to frost top and sides of a 9-inch square cake or top of a 13 x 9-inch cake. Double recipe for a layer cake.

Hi Chef,

I should have used your recipe, I used this one and it was too sweet and had a strange after-taste.

* 4 cups powdered sugar
* 1 cup unsalted butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 tablespoons milk

Directions

1.
Cream together sugar and the butter.
2.

Add the vanilla.
3.

Add the milk and beat on a medium speed until it is a spreading consistency.
4.

If needed add additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Plain to say, it was gross and not the creamy texture I was looking for either.
