I would so love to hear Patriot's take on the myths about markets and incremental substitution.

Thomas Sowell is a well educated man. I never read any of his books but I have read some of his articles online. He knows his economics. As far as his political views, I cannot endorse.
Contrary to what many think, he does adress the extreme right's disturbinly anti black bias.

ausar, Sowell thinks the black community would prosper under his views. He sees black americans JOINING the investment class.

LOL, black Americans have been a part of the investment community as long as America has had an investment community. Opinions to the contrary are but more worthless klan propaganda.

Sowell is not a serious economist at all. His writings, though copious, are very simple-minded and I would say a very, very, lightweight version of Milton Friedman. he is more of a right wing pamphleter than a serious economist. He is not as clownly and empty as Walter Williams but is an intellectual lightweight nevertheless.
