^Nice work. Hopefully when/if you start writing books on your subjects of interest, especially some authoritative work for children (be it on dinosaurs or ancient peoples and civilizations of foregone eras), you can incorporate this unique talent. I've fantasized about getting into all sorts of professions that would incorporate my creative skills (screenwriting, novel-writing, concept artist for computer game design, etc.), but since I'll be studying biological anthropology, I doubt I'll have time for any of them. The most I could do is dabble into them as hobbies.

Just keep in mind the future when you'll need to pay the mortgage, lease/buy the cars, feed clothe and educate the kids, vacations, and so on, and know the money you'll need for that won't be just heavensent.

Truthcentric please see if you can duplicate the ancient Egyptian way of portraying a figure
Maybe something like this:

But maybe change the position of the figures, your own composition (but maintaining the profile view of the figure they like to use) and mixing objects and figures from different paintings. See if you can stick to their colors, a lot of earth tones, not too much bright color. -A lot of various browns, black, yellowish brown, reddish brown, white, greenish gray, bluish gray
Then after one of these is done see if you can make a copy of one of these pictures, make a second version where you yourself are in the scene with modern clothes but standing in an Egyptian profile stance among other ancient Egyptian figures in their regular ancient garb. See if you can work Bess in, he's hip. also a boat, thanks

While looking up shields to sketch, I noticed the following trends in shield design within each major geographic region:
1) African shields come in a variety of shapes (although rectangular and oval forms predominate), but they're often made from some kind of animal hide (especially cowhide).
2) Middle Eastern shields are usually circular (although the shield used in the Sumerian phalanx was rectangular).
3) European shields can be either rectangular or circular, and they're usually made from wood. The exceptions to the latter rule are Greek and Macedonian shields which were usually metal.
4) Far Eastern shields tend to be more rectangular and very often are long and narrow. However, a few Chinese shields (not shown here) are circular.
5) Native American shields are circular as a general rule and often have feathers attached to the bottom rim. The Inca however had both circular and rectangular shields.
