You can help resist this economic imperialism by taking simple actions that protect your wealth and pull it out of the hands of the globalists who are actively destroying our world. Here are five of the most powerful action steps to take that can turn the tables and restore economic sovereignty at every level -- household, community, state, nation and the entire globe.
#1) Shop at local farmers' markets, food co-ops and local grocers Stop buying Tyson chicken. Stop buying Monsanto-engineered GMO foods at the grocery store. Stop giving your money to food industry globalists such as ADM, Cargill and PepsiCo. Every time you buy a can of brand-name soda, a carton of genetically modified soy milk, or a bag of popular snack chips, you are financially supporting a system of global agricultural poverty and food domination that destroys life and liberty.
If you shop based solely on price and not ethics, you are take part in the economic destruction of our world. Shop local, buy organic and avoid all the corporate food giants and their deceptive, dishonest packaged foods.
Remember: If the food you eat comes in a box, your family and friends will eventually find YOU in a box, too.
#2) Pull your money out of the big banks and put it in local credit unions When you deposit $1,000 in a globalist bank, they can turn around and, through a series of fractional reserve banking transactions, turn that into $9,000 in loans that earn them interest. Inversely, by pulling $1,000 out of a globalist bank (JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, etc.), you deny them the ability to make $9,000 in loans, thus shrinking their profits by a significant factor.
One of the most powerful and honest strategies you can use to protect your own savings and stop financially supporting the global financial crooks who are running the largest banks is to move your money to a local credit union.

Of course, your local credit unions are normally not insured by the FDIC, but that's actually a bonus because the FDIC will itself be insolvent in the first 24 hours of a true banking debt collapse (its own funds are a pittance compared to the scale of the global derivatives debt possessed by the banks it claims to insure). #3) Stop working for The Man as a wage slave If you punch a clock working for The Man, then you're part of the problem. Every hour of your effort goes to keep propping up the very system that's bringing you down.
It's difficult, of course, to find work these days, and it's absolutely true that The Man pays double or even triple the wages of anyone else. Heck, even TSA jobs come with great pay, government health benefits, and the "administrative right" to sexually molest innocent people, which is a real bonus to some of the disturbed psychopaths who take those jobs in the first place. If you want to stop working for The Man, you are going to have to downsize your material wealth and instead be content to possess spiritual wealth (and ethical currency, so to speak). Yes, you might live in a smaller house and drive a smaller car, but you won't have to sell out your soul to an evil system of tyranny and oppression.
So if you're currently punching a clock for some evil corporation, some tyrannical government entity, or some poison-pushing pharmaceutical company, find a new line of work and stop supporting the very system that's destroying us all.
#4) Trade soon-to-be-useless paper currency for real goods Are you still sitting on a bunch of paper currency and hoping it will somehow be worth the same amount in five years? Stop kidding yourself... the value of all the top global currencies is eroding by the hour. At times, it seems like it's not happening because they're all eroding together, so the relative valuation between currencies appears to be deceptively stable. But underneath it all, global currency devaluation has viciously accelerated -- and both the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve are committed to printing even more counterfeit currency to further speed the process.
By the time all the European banks are bailed out, and the U.S. banks are bailed out, and the Canadian and Australian banks are bailed out, if you're still left holding hyper-inflated currencies like the U.S. dollar, you're going to be lucky to still own ten cents on the dollar in terms of today's purchasing power. Herman McCain, who thankfully dropped out of the Republican race just a couple of days ago, was a Federal Reserve insider. You couldn't pick a more compromised candidate to try to fix the economy when he's part of the very system of theft that's destroying it!
The only real candidate who would challenge the economic plunder of our world is, of course, Ron Paul (www.RonPaul2012.com). He's the guy who has stood firm on the principle of auditing the Fed and even ending the Fed so that the money supply of America can be put back into the hands of the Congress (i.e. the People) and not a private bankster cartel run by globalist crooks.
Do these five things now if you want to help save your nation from total economic destruction Right now, whether you are Republican, Democrat or Libertarian, one of the most patriotic things you can do to save your nation is follow these five steps and start redirecting your financial resources away from the globalists and toward your local community.
Support small, local businesses. Support local financial institutions. Don't buy the stock of evil corporations, even if they pay financial dividends. Vote for candidates who operate with consistent ethics, not the ones who give the slickest speeches and promise the most handouts.
Put your time, money and effort into restoring your nation or you will lose your nation. Every dollar that you spend, save or invest in a profit-driven bank or evil corporate giant is a dollar that will one day be used to wage economic warfare against you and your own children.
Think about what you're doing. Save yourself, my friends, because all the other big players out there would far prefer to enslave you than set you free.

The author is contradicting himself when he says 'restore your nation", while pushing for behavioral changes to bring about social change for the better. "Restore" to what? Countries like say the U.S. have been capitalist-driven economies for almost or the bulk of their entire existence, putting the obscene monetary greed of a privileged few over all else. That is THE problem!! So why on earth would anyone want to restore it?!
And the deal with Ron Paul; even though he sort of stands out of his rivals in his isolationist and small government viewpoints, he is still part of the system.

As Explorer said, the system is the problem.
When we have people in Congos dying simply because they want an country that is free and fair, and the World news barely makes even an passing mention about it, and when they do mention it it's only because of the protest that people from the Congos is making in Countries in Canada and Europe and US.
I for one am tired of seeing innocent people dying for the greed of the elites and those who kill for there pleasures.
Let me be frank with this. The reason why things like the Congos get no pub, is because the people are Black and the leaders are milking there resources to the west so the west don't want to ruffle any feathers.
When the leaders put PEOPLE FIRST and push to have all people live in a better way, there will always be people who steal from the mass and have the mass used as pawns in there game of power tripping. The system is busted, Broken, Corrupt. To change the system, we as the majority must try to take back our countries and stop all the mass destroying of our world.
I got ahold of an pamphlet that talked about how much water in Canada is going towards "Fracking" for gas. This makes the water undrinkable and can be lit on fire(Just tap water). The leaders must stop the push for anything for an dolla and realize we must leave these countries for our children and let the future get an chance to Live in this world without all the destruction.
I also saw an documentary that talked about autism and how it is rapidly growing in the developed world. It use to be that 1 in 10000 got autism, now it's 1 in 90. They also found links to autism in the gut of children so it's not only an brain issue but something triggered from poor water, Food environment. The lives of our children are at stake and until people realize we must put the Future(Children) above ourselves and our comfort, we will see more of our children suffer needlessly.
Then in my Country, they want to push the homosexual agenda onto our children at younger and younger age and hide it under stoping bullying. Children being bullied must stop but to teach an 3 yearold about being gay and that there is more to sexes then male and female and you don't have to be an Boy if you feel lke an girl etc is redicoulus. It shows that these peoples heads are not into helping change the world, but corrupting it sexualizing it and turning peoples into zombies to the state. Wakeup people, they are trying to brainwash the youth so the don't have the where with all to stand up for whats right.
I see everyday people taking pleasure from tormenting others and tearing down the next man and woman. This has got to stop because while we are busy attacking eachother, the elite are ripping this world apart and making it harder for regular people to live. If you want to limit the elites power, then take an active role in the lives of others not just yourself, help your neighbour, support your peers. When we show the elite we will stand for whats right, then they will have to backdown and we won't hear all this stuff about mental slavery and suicide. When the people show they are united Black and White, then and only then will we see change.
All the hate spouted by people like cassiteride and others back and forth makes the elite laugh at our forum. We have an chance to reach the world and unlock Ideas about how to change this world. Until we get past this monkey this, ape that nonsense, we will always be looked at as outsiders instead of people who can lead the charge to make change kinda like twitter and facebook does.
We have the ear of the Scientists and as Charlie Bass showed they come out mor and more agreeing with the things that we speak on daily on these threads. IT's NOT an Coincidence. They read us and see all the scholarship on these forums and they feel emboldend to speak the truth knowing it will be critiqued by us and broken down so the laymen understands. Thats one of the reasons why Clyde Winter is on these forums.
Let us educate and teach and stop the ego stroking that many people do on these forums. Educate one Brother or Sister and He/She educates one, and so on and so on and sooner rather then later we educate an Nation.

Becasue Americans have enjoyed a high standard of living on average relative to other parts of the world. Financial troubles of the present degree are recent and in the great depression. other than that a fairly good stabilty

It doesn't take a mathematical genius to realize that if just a tiny percentage of these BofA derivatives fail, the FDIC is instantly and irreparably bankrupt.
So much for your own bank account being "FDIC insured," huh? Who is insuring the FDIC?
In other words, if you have deposits with these large banks, there is a very real risk that those deposits may suddenly disappear in much the same way that customer accounts at MF Global recently vanished, never to be returned.
It's clear from all this that the financial quickening is upon us. The inevitable financial corrections stemming from the global spread of toxic debt are now at our doorstep. While it is possible that clever bureaucrats and finance fixers may be able to rig temporary solutions that delay "the big correction" a while longer, there is no questioning the fact that such a correction is inevitable -- and the longer it's delayed, the worse it's going to get.
By historical comparison, what our world is about to experience will make the economic misery of The Great Depression look like child's play. The subject of mining helium-3 on the Moon as a fuel for future clean, safe nuclear power plants is a fascinating one that raises many questions. Some of these questions are highly technical, and relate to the feasibility of the involved nuclear physics. Other questions concern the not inconsiderable practicalities associated with getting to the Moon, mining and super-heating large quantities of lunar rock (Space.com report a suggestion of roughly one million tons of lunar soil being needed to be mined and processed for every 70 tonnes of helium-3 yield), and then getting the precious cargo back to the Earth. However, the far more interesting questions arguably relate to why this is a topic that is receiving so little media and public attention.

Arab Spring helps Desertec's solar energy plan: CEO Mon, Oct 24 2011 Analysis & Opinion Strategies to save the only planet we have Lebanon Maronite Church patriarch fears Arab Spring extremism By Erik Kirschbaum BERLIN | Thu Nov 3, 2011 2:16pm EDT (Reuters) - The Arab Spring this year has given a boost to the world's most ambitious solar project, which could be producing green electricity in the desert by 2015, the head of the body steering the 400 billion euro ($550 billion) scheme said.
Paul van Son, the managing director of the Desertec Industrial Initiative (DII), told Reuters that the awareness and interest in the project to turn sunshine into energy has grown with the spread of democracy across North African and the Middle East.
"It's a positive thing," said van Son, who heads the executive arm of the project that aims to supply up to 15 percent of Europe's electricity demands by 2050 by using mirrors to harness the sun's rays to produce steam and drive turbines.
"We like the Arab Spring because it has opened up a lot of ideas and generated support for the project," van Son said in a telephone interview. "We're very supportive. The democratic structures fit very well with ours."
Before the Arab Spring, there had long been concerns about the political stability in the region.
The scheme was founded by mostly German companies in 2009.
DII's goal is to analyze how to develop clean energy in the North Africa deserts that could supply power to the region as well as to Europe. Deserts get more energy in six hours than the world's population consumes in a year, DII says.
Fields of mirrors in the desert would gather solar rays from concentrated solar power (CSP) to boil water, turning turbines to electrify a new carbon-free network linking Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Van Son said now that the fighting in Libya is over, a project like Desertec could help the economy and create jobs in the country and throughout the region, especially for young people.
He said he hopes Desertec can help bring Mediterranean nations closer together.
"Desertec is a project they're understanding better and embrace," van Son said. "I believe large infrastructure projects like this can contribute to stability. It's about the development of new industries in the region, investment, job creation and the transfer of knowledge and know-how."
Van Son said that a first power plant project of some 150 megawatts would be built in Morocco, possibly generating power by 2015 or 2016, with further projects planned in Tunisia and Algeria.
"Things are moving very quickly in Morocco," he said. "We thought there would be more logistical problems. But that's not been the case."
DII is a product of the Desertec Foundation, a global network of governments, companies and think tanks that is exploring how to harness solar power in deserts.
