Weni was a noble of the 6th Dynasty, serving as governor of Upper Egypt honored by Ausar. Due to the looming threat of the Asiatic sand-dwellers, his majesty made an army consisting of tens of thousands from Upper & Lower Egypt, including: Irtjet-Nubians, Medja-Nubians, Yam-Nubians, Wawat-Nubians, Kaak-Nubians and inhabitants from the Tiemeh Land to hold off the incoming forces possibly coming from the Levant.
Does anyone have any more information about the tribes I list above (i.e. Yam-Nubains)? Especially this Tiemeh Land.
