A question was posed about the sex of various posters on the Forum. Now I am interested in who actually lives, or has lived in Egypt, long-term (longer than a month visit).
I know that Penny, Laura, Akshar and I do, but who else out there lives in this wonderful land?
I do. This is my first post here.. just browsin' around. But thought this is a suitable thread to say hello to everyone on the board.. so "hello all". Some threads are quite interesting, will get around to taking part in some discussions soon.

Lamya

I keep promising myself that I will get to know Alex better. I have only been there once. I was there for a week when I was trying to sort some stuff out with customs. Nighmare experience but I loved Alex. Its cleaner and brighter than Luxor and not so hot. But all in all I think I would rather live in the rural south.

It's good to see people posting here again. More please. It would also be helpful if you could give an indication if you were male of female.
Most seem to live in Cairo with a few in Hurghada and Luxor. I shall sort through and see if I can get your names into a simple list for people to file or print off.

Hello Redsea. Can you give me some idea where your shop is? I work between Sekalla & Dahar. What kind of shop? If you have lived here for a while, perhaps you could tell me where I could find trousers that would fit me. I am a UK 10 and the smallest size I can get here in Hurghada is 38. The lazy thing is I don't have to undo them to take them off!!

Hi Bomba, The shop in Hurghada is in Sheraton Road opposite the new Wahib building, next door to TWINS (they sell jeans and T.Shirts etc) I can't say the name of my shop on here in case I get into trouble with the name but, it's a famous store in Knightsbridge LOL but the shop is for tourists. You can E-mail me if you want to go shopping, I always enjoy shopping... hurghadalady@hotmail.com
