Hi everyone,

I am moving there in August to marry an amazing man. I am American- 33- going for my Master's degree in education. I have 12 years experience in Social Work. I have looked into Amaid and USaid, but there doesn't seem to be anything available at this time. Any advice? Names of schools in Cairo that I can apply to? Thanks so much!

there are many great schools, one is called Nefetari Language School, the other Heliopolis American International School, brand new school, bus will pick you up, and the start wage for a teacher is small to start (about 3000 LE) Egyptian Pounds, but you can ask for up to 5000. This may seem small compared to the US dollar, but really, it is very very good money to live in Egypt. I am sure you will have NO problems finding work - just before school starts!!! how perfect.
