Although I have been lurking around this forum for so long and to b telling the truth I don't like at least 80% of the subjects, but I owe this forum being introduced to a gr8 person.
It is once in a life time when u meet someone and when they leave u think of them and say "wow they realy made a difference".
Well u all know Sorsor, I was lucky to meet her in person during her stay here in Cairo. Sorsor in person is somebody who is realy gr8, sweet, kind but the most amazing is that she is an outgoing person in nature. She is the least demanding, bent balad, wa lazeeza wa bete3raf tenaket masry.
Over all I am realy glad I got to know her, and thought it will b nice to give u all an insight on how she is in person.

I was going to say that EFL perhaps learned more egyptian than proper arabic but since seren had the same problem, then let me Ask
seren, did you understand the words but couldn't get the whole meaning or you didn't understand words either? I mean comeon bareed, qorra', dair, la tashrabi, qatina all are arabic words . but if you missed the idea, this statment is taken from famous egyptian movie for 3emad 7amdy "a7mad al qatin bedair anna7as la tashrab al dawa' al dawa' feehe somon qatil..etc" watched this b4?

Ana 3awza at3alim, bes there are no good books that teaches you about fus7a in english or in arabic here in norway. and no teacher to teach me neither. so Inshallah maybe I can take a short course egypt. since I am there almost 6 months every year. Allah Kareem. we rabena ma3ak kaman

Jannah, as you know I speak arabic. But I never went to any arabic school. SO i had to learn Arabic writing and reading myself. And there is a book that really helped me. well actually it was all i need it to learn it. It teaches you all from speaking, to writing and reading. BUT you have to read every detail and study real hard. I read the book by Jack Smart, his grammar is very easy to understand. His book is called "Arabic: A complete course for beginners". On the net I havent found any good sites. BUt try searching on the local library, there are lots of cd's and books that can help.

Its actually a better version then the one i was talking about. Jack Smart is really good, its really to understand it all, the grammar, the pronounciation. and the writing. and if you do the exercises you will be doing great!
