Well obviously if they are in your company and they have to listen to you, and you,are your usual dazzling self then obviously they will not have anything good to say about Minnesota, and their experiences of the local populace. Actually which european countries have you ever visited? Just so we can calculate what experience you really have and how much you can actually comment. So according to you........... we Europeans dont mention how great a holiday we had in USA, Australia, New Zealand, India, Africa,Japan, this list goes on and on............according to you? Sonomod get your brain in gear before you actually open your mouth please. You are making comments on something you know nothing about. How long was it that you lived in London? In addition to the accelerated courses I am taking to finally finish a bachelors and naturally I need to test out for certifications so I have a leg to stand on professionally.
I am so enthusized. I am so happy.
But I will post once in a while with relevant content, my research on Islam, Mid-East, Coptology and other areas will continue and I will share those findings. I have about 15 books at home on loan and I still pile through them with the homework is finished.
I know I am massively irritating to some, and I relish doing so in the near future. But I will concentrate on damning content that truly irritates the retirement bitches and the khawagaa wannabes of this board.
I need balance don't I?

What I was told by the Help Desk Analyst/Supervisor is that its an "Butt and Chair" position.
No I can't be online at all. I can't have cell phones, make personal calls or anything of the sort.
Which I am fine with. I just REALLY want a start in my chosen career path.
Its been up and down.
As soon as I have a position secured its not in the budget. Or the idiot they hired last week isn't a level two, but a level one so it will take alot to train the idiot (he lied to get the job).
And naturally whenever I apply for a clerical position they excuse themselves and remark "you won't be with us in 2 months, there are so many IT positions out there" No you wonder idiot, there aren't loads of entry level IT positions out there, there are 20 applicants for every position!
So its been real trying, and I will be fielding about 10 calls an hour. With 90 employees in the call center its 50,000 - 60,000 calls a month. No small task. Due to the dot.com fall out, many IT departments are understaffed and under funded because so many executives feel cheated by the IT professionals.
Plus 10 new software roll outs in a week, means my learning curve will have to be ignormous.
Us IT professionals aren't unionized like they are in Europe. We have no protections.

Congrats Sonomod -new job is always exciting and frightening at the same time! Thats one sure way to get a carriage to yourself on the underground! I travel to London for work sometimes and as hard as you try an asian looking person with rucksack does still get an awful lot of looks! We had to get a visa for us to go to France last year with my family and we were supposed to be travelling on the 7th to Kings Cross so we couldnt go, had to go the day after by car and it was so quiet in London!
