Could any of the expats please recommend a hospital in Cairo? It's an urgent matter and would really need some place on a high end scale, clean and with competent doctors(possibly foreigners)...Any help tremendously appreciated.

Anglo American Hospital al-burg 735-6162/6165 I think Anglo American Hospital is the perfered health provider for USAid employees but I could be wrong.
I was wondering myself if there is any short term medical insurance for retirees, Americans?
My grandmother won't step foot in Egypt and she claims she will die before our daughter makes it back to the USA.
Its an excuse, but medicare doesn't cover emergency treatment overseas.

It's more important to go for a good doctor, not hospital. All doctors work in several hospitals. Just walking in the door of a hospital is not recommended because you'll get the junior staff. That's the system here.
