Anyone know the best place and price for computer price, specifically:
Hard disk IDE - USB cable
My best price so far are: 310LE IDE HD 160GB 350LE SATA HD 200GB 40LE IDE-USB Cable
So far it seems that only 160 and 80GB are available in IDE, can't find any higher- I want only IDE no SATA, since I would use this as an external HD.

Bab Elouk has tons of small shops full of just about anything you could ever want. There's also a sort of a computer mall( it may even be called that) that's about four of five stories high with nothing but computer stores.

Which reminds me. When I first took my laptop to Egypt I knew I would have to by and adapter because of the different prongs used in Egypt. It turned out that every store in Egypt that carried those adapters had the wrong ones. Whoever imported these suckers got Europeans ones (not sure which countries in Europe use them) which have smaller prongs than Egyptian ones and do not make good contact in the wall socket. I ended up going to Bab Elouk and buying a cord with an Egyptian plug attached to it and found the proper adapter in Canada!
