Hi to all of you
i will move next Year to Cairo, we are looking for good and payable schools in new cairo.
we have a budget from about 20 000 L.e and would like to get some information for IGCSE schools.

Thank you Sarah, i have checkt them all already, but they are a bit to expensive.
we are a egyptian/Swiss Family who run a small buisness in dahab and cant pay more than 4000 Euro a year for school.

Sarahsophia keep in mind whatever the schools are quoting on the website there will be a 20% upcharge because private schools are no longer tax free.

See if you can get a part-time job at an international school and you will receive a tuition discount or in some cases its free tuition.

Also see if you can get an egyptian rate if the children have egyptian citizenship.

no i liked it, i just wasnt good at it. it reminded me of my little brothers physics project- had to make a car that self propelled itself out of a mouse trap! i failed at that too.

I have found a list of IGCSE schools (from 2006), you can download it here: http://www.flyingcolours.org.uk/cgi-bin/library.cgi?action=detail&id=129

My daughter is currently in the Port Said school in Zamalek (Giza) it is Egyptian, but books are from England, fees are LE 7500 a year (including books), exampapers will come from Cambridge. British school only from year 7 (Pre-IG) and up.

i heard good things about the MES= Modern education school in new cairo.
