Is anybody aware of the International Women's day, when it is and what's it about? without googling it that is. Does anybody celebrate it/observe it/know about it/care about it?
What do people think of the feminist movement (however you define it)? how do they relate to it? Do you consider it to be relevant/required nowadays? What would you consider to be the main issues/challenges facing women in the early 21st century? The reason I'm asking is that I used to have great interest in the feminist movement. I still try to attend any sort of event on the IWD, but I'm finding that the numbers attending such events are continuously dwindling. I'd be particularly interested to see how views vary across the cultural divide.

As far as I know, International Women's day already passed by recently, however I don't know the exact date. I read something about it. The feminist movement here is as good as dead. I guess women already have the rights they wanted to have, women in common are less feminist as they were 30 years ago.
