hiya my MIL has applied for a visa to come here to see her first grandchild and she got all her documents back today but there is nothing so were confused as to wether she has got it or not they documents they kept was stuff we sent to support her application such as bank statments a letter and copy of my babys birth cert there is no stamp in her passport or letter saying wether she has it or not so were sooo confused all she has said is that there is some kind of blue ribbon on last page of passport but there is nothin written on it or stamped hope someone can help as theyre closed today thanks

i just checked their site and it says this The visa or refusal is returned to you in a sealed envelope to ensure the decision remains private. If you are refused a visa, the Entry Clearance Officer will give you a written notice clearly explaining the decision, which will also tell you what your appeal rights are.]
and there is none of these !!
