If you are married to egyptian, and go to do your residency visa you must now take nationality stamp to get it. Which means, you now need your husbands birth certificate, his fathers birth certificate, and possibly his grandfathers.

So after we left, because we didnt have i traveled back to maadi. My husband went to place in dokki to get. Then he called me and said he was able to get them. I went back to mogamma. After 2 hours running around there, told us come back 2 weeks. So now, we are on way home. What a day!

If it is any consolation I spent two days in Mogamma a couple of weeks back when they lost my passport!!!
And what annoyed me most was I saw all the new IT equipment they have to get into this century and one woman was sitting playing solitaire on her computer!!!
EEEEK! I only remained calm as I need them more then they need me lol.
Good luck in 2 weeks time
