This board isn't about Egypt, the culture, the religion, the people, the politics... It hasn't been about that for a long time. This board is about having the last word, about who's talking the loudest, about identities as old as the hills, about friends and feuds, fighting wage wars against each other.

Ever since i know this board is has been like that,even worse.It can go from non-stop slandering matches,naked pics,foul language and sleaze to total bore,yawns and several ...zzzzzzzz...etc.
At the moment is going thru a medium level.It has been much more worse other times,really,so nothing new in the horizon.

What Sash said is very true. ES goes through peaks and troughs. I enjoy reading the debates on here, often you can see both sides of the arguements but the problems come when debating becomes personal! Unfortunately this happens regularly because the dissenters can't argue intelligently and can only use personal insults as a response so the topic turns to rubbish,then the original topic is gone. There are lots of reasons why people are here, either Egyptians, people who live in Egypt, people who have Egyptian partners either in Egypt or in other countries, People who visit the country or who just have an interest in it. So I think there are wide issues people like to open topics about because we come from a wide range of countries.

Porn is socially un-acceptable in my eyes. It is unhealthy to get a kick out of watching others carry out sexual acts! I find it quite disturbing how folk openly discuss their love of something so depraving.

I come and go from here as it is just a little bit of fun... stuff all to do with Egypt like but a little fun...
