For what reasons you`re making a preselection on friendship? I can`t understand why it possibly might be important whether a friend should be foreign or national. I can imagine somebody wants to develope his knowledge about people in other country`s, but in that case male/female shouldn`t make a difference. I can imagine somebody wants to develope his knowledge about females, but in that case foreign/not foreign shouldn`t make a difference. Why should an Egyptian man search for foreign females for only friendship? I can make imaginations, but I don`t like them. So, if your intentions really are that innocent, it might be a better idea to bring a bit clearness in this. It will place yourself in another daylight, because, you know, men are having a bad reputation in this kind of requests...

Don`t get me wrong, Smuckers, for some men it is already difficult enough to understand their own wife/girlfriend, all those bestsellar books about the m/f relationships aren`t that popular without reasons! Maybe the man has reasons to learn to understand female foreigners! It is not likely, but it is possible! He doesn`t look like a poor conartist, tourist-hunter etc., he has a job (on a bank, when we take a look at the poster on the backside), so maybe he has a totally innocent reason to ask...

I think people with bad intentions won`t let themselve stop by one discovery on one public board. They have their goals clear and want to reach this, no matter what... Well, Ramesses, in the past there have been similar requests wich received reactions that were not encouraging at all. At least they gave you the benefit of the doubt! The reason why readers think like this are clear: negative expierences, and I think they`re wellknown by anybody, including Egyptian men working with foreigners. It is silly to act like it is a unknown phenomenon. A question because you seem to have a wife: Do you allow her the same; to become friends with foreigners? If YES, please PM me her mail-adress...

if i like my body i would show u my best body photos .. coz those photos were when my body was mess i am MR Egypt for the year 1999-2000-2001 in bodybuilding .. heavy weight and showing those photos dont mean at all that i like my body should every thing for all of you must have reason ? i saw yesterday a girl showing some photos of herself and her husband .. and some comments on the photos said (why u in so much clothes?) so it looks like much clothes is not ok for you .. and less clothes also not ok so when we try to show photos what we gonna do ?

In my humble opinion sir, I`m just an simple person without any psychlogic education, showing this kind of pictures means that you think they are worth showing it. Everybody will show their most postive side as soon as he/she meets somebody new, it`s in a human`s nature. So, in your opinion you have showed your most positive sides by showing this pictures and in your comments. You have shown your inside and a bit of your inside. Now it`s for the readers to decide if you`re worth to become friends with...

The problem with names is that are giving imaginations. In fact a name doesn`t say anything it is only a name that the parents had in mind on the moment we were born. Above that, parents minds are often pink-coloured just after giving birth to such a sweet little thing. And all people think their baby is the most beautiful child on earth, and in future it will become a bright, succesfull woman/man that everybody m u s t love the way they do. Enough stuff for great desillusions . I`m losing the subject. So, keep in mind that minds are often troubled in that particular time,so you can call me: Belle. Belle Histoire to be complete, and this name doesn`t fit me at all. Belle means beautiful ( how bright) and it is all the result of that temporary state of mind. For the rest I didn`t fulfill their high expectations, didn`t become famous,am not that smart and not everybody loves me. (But I don`t care, I`m quite satisfied. Hope my parents will feel the same, one day...) Nice story, isn`t it? BTW, you`re giving up early! Wasn`t Ramses some famous ancient pharao, King of Kings, Ramses the Great? nice story belle .. my name in arabic is very strange .. even for egyptians they dont believe when i tell it so better be ramsses and am i so brave to show my photo ? i see this normal thing .. so why u hide ur faces ? and spasm i didnt build this body in 2 years .. i go gym since 1997 but quit for last year and just back nowadays my golden days were university days,, but now .. i back from work and have no deside to move my body any place ..

Honestly Ramesses, I don't think the request in itself is a bad thing. If you truly want a foreign girl as JUST a friend. However you will notice a skeptical trend on this board because most egyptian men who come on here claiming to want a foreign girl as a friend are really just looking for a visa or sex or whatever else floats their boat. Looking for a girl that is just a friend, to hang out, talk with, is not a bad thing at all. Often friends of the opposite sex give you great insight in different aspects of your life, truly men and women do think very differently. I know one of my best friends is a guy I met in school who is from Palestine. I value his friendship so much. He has motivated and inspired me. I wish you luck in your search, also do not let the opinions of others affect you too much, especially not on here, because they truly don't matter. Just make yourself happy, and live your life the way you choose, with no regrets. Best of luck.

I second that , Sarah. People from both sexes need friends from both sexes. In Egypt, it may be difficult if you havent grown up with a friend from the opposite sex to make a new one which is why Ramses is asking for a foreign girl. The relationship between people in Egypt seems to be very gendre focused (well, most not all) and if you're as cute as that guy girls would start by making friends then go making eyes at him. He's probably fed up! Good luck, Ramses.
In my won experience, I had my group of friends of 3 girls and 3 boys who started our postgrad training together at the same time and place. Things were wonderful until one of the boys had a very aggressive cancer and left us in a matter of months. The group was broken after that coz we could never bear to be together and remember the loss. It was less painful for us to go our separate ways but I was never able to make new male friends since then. It just doesnt work in our society.

Come on, Ramesses,more is needed for causing a scandal. It hasn`t been a scandal, just a question that arised critical questions. And the advice about taking a new identity...well, some people swear by this, but you`re right in your opinion about that.
