Hello every body, on behalf of a good italian friend of mine who want to establish his own business in Cairo, he charged me to look for good location for that business. he wants to open a showroom for antique shop ( big antique shop) he is very professional and has his own in Italy and Holland. any one can advise where is good to do such business in Cairo...?!! kind regards for all

he should choose a very classy area (mohandiseen.zamaleck ,garden city ,maadi)u can look at el waseet news papers lots of shops 4 rent there,good luck

thank you besso7, thank you learnarabic for your answer. I think Heliopolis, Dokki and Maadi are very classy areas and there are good chances for that kind of business. some advise us New Cairo, but I never been there and dont know if such project will work over there? it will be great if we can find an old villa or a showroom in an old building, its better than modern buildings as the showroom will be for antiques... any advices are welcome

There are already many people trading antiques, I don`t know if there are any in New-Cairo. As the name already states, all what has been build there is new, so you won`t find any old buildings there. Some building that should suit the style of antiques is Korba (Part of Heliopolis).There is one particular street, Baghdad Street, who has design-stores, furniture, jewelery etc. Expensive neighbourhood, as also New Cairo is...
