Just thought it would be of interest to those who are working in UK If you are a foreign national working in UK you are still entitled to the Tax Rebate for first earnings. It should be that you are taxed on the 647L tax code which allows you to earn from £0.00 - £6470.00 Before you pay tax
Most employers will tax you from day/week/month 1 But you can apply for the tax refund at the end of that tax year to recieve all the tax you paid up until you earn £6470. after that the tax you pay will not be refunded. You have 1 year to claim back that first earnings tax x Hope this is of help to those in UK or those who husbands here work x x

Hubby got a nice tax rebate back in November which he was not expecting. Shame it has gone on fixing the damage to the car when he came off the road due to the snow and the new part for the boiler
