Looking at African Americans in gedmatch I noticed that when you don't screen out European Fang gets a bump up. Screen for European and Fang gets a bump down. I assume its the high frequency of R1b doing this. I've seen this with east Africans on this pairwise chart when recent eurasian admixture is removed -

You also see it heavy on this chart... with some of the lightest skin natives of ssa.
