The dystrobrevin-binding protein 1 (DTNBP1) gene is a susceptibility gene for schizophrenia. There is growing evidence that DTNPB1 contributes to intelligence and cognition. In this study, we investigated association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the DTNBP1 gene and intellectual functioning in patients with a first episode of schizophrenia or related psychotic disorder (first-episode psychosis, FEP), their healthy siblings, and unrelated controls.
This whole intelligence thing is nothing but a hype; a bunch of educated fools getting together to make themselves feel better about a mostly genetic predicament that they didn't even contribute to (its genetic), and often don't even find themselves in, judging by the fact that the low slope in the bell curve occurs in whites as well.
If we all accept that we've moved away from the early ideas of anthropology that said that races are simply better because they are better, and backwater because they're backwater, and even racialists such as Ruston agree that we find ourselves in modern times where the environmental influence on the genetic frequency of all traits must be taken into consideration, it makes me laugh to myself that racialists and racists think that they can repackage their old case that IQ can ever be thought of as a credit or discredit to the people that just so happen to carry them.
Like in previous thread (where you failed epically), I dare you to defend your ideas here with me; show me how it can ever be a credit or discredit to an individual or group, that high IQ happens to occur in higher/lower freq among them. Let's see if you can defy your inherent cowardice in a field where you (falsely) feel more confident than say, in African archaeology, judging by your the fact that you've at least attempted to put up some resistence in this thread by throwing in a study.
People, watch how he will only engage the arguments that allow for easy acrobating, and ignore others that directly undermine his theory, like he with my arguments in the other thread, or more probably now that I've alerted readers; he will simply jump ship.

You know someone is low IQ if someone can stand to listen to HI crap for half an hour, let alone allow them into their world view, and doing that for 20 years. His low IQ makes me suspect that even his getting out, was the result of other people convincing him of HI inconsistencies.

^^^^ I do find it humorous that Afronut has somehow convinced himself that he is some how different than the "Negros" he loves to degrade.
