Kodlo you remind me of a thread by Malibudusul who stated that an Italian writer was going to write a book that say Julius Caesar was of Ethiopian descent.
"New study proves it, Julius Caesar was black – and from Africa
Controversial historian Mario Bonafini received hundreds of death threats and was actually forced into hiding after an unnamed insider leaked a pre-publication copy of his explosive new book, Julius Caesar Was NOT Italian" ________________________________________
Fishermen and sea creatures, mosaic, 1st century AD -
The bust is carved of green basanite with minor restorations to the ear and drapery; the carving of the inlaid marble eyes is not ancient. The stone and style of the bust suggest that it was made in Egypt. Berlin, Altes Museum. Credits: Barbara McManus, 2012

Has anyone here checked the story? Is it genuine or is it made up. Some more checking is required before believing it. From what I have see of it appears to be a fabricated one.

The sculptute is believed to have been made 1-50 AD and the inlaid eyes later
This portrait is most likely an image of Caesar made fifty years or more after his murder in 44 BC. The stone is from Wadi Hamamat in Upper Egypt, and the facial structure, with high cheekbones and prominent chin, is reminiscent of many Egyptian portraits.

Archaeologists believe it was sculpted while he was still alive, perhaps two years before his assassination.
