When debating another loon on this topic he presents a quotation (I guess from here) that states that modern Egyptians cluster biologically Sub Saharan Africans, yet still manage to look the way that they due. Here is the quote.

This once again proves that despite having so called "Negroid" limb proportions modern Northern Egyptians still look like this
Thus refuting Afrocentric assertions that these biological features automatically means that one looks like a Negro.

You are AGAIN debunked on 2 counts:
1) On the characteristics SMith mentions, many Egyptians would cluster with "sub-Saharan" Africans. Your cherrypicked "picture evidence" CONVENIENTLY leaves out many modern Egyptians. Some of these below. Funny how you missed these in your so-called "comparison." ANd we have not even gotten into various peoples of SOmalia, Ethiopia, Kenya etc who are also "sub Saharan"
Smith also did a limb to limb analysis of northern ancients versus Middle Easterners. The northerners cluster more with tropical Africans than the Middle Easterners as shown below..
2) Trinkhaus uses the term "modern" to refer to samples from the Dynastic eras, not today's 20th cen Arabized types. But it would not matter if he referred to 20th century Egyptians given the range of variation in Egypt, particularly southern Egypt.

^ Yes, I was just about to say that Modern Egyptians vary and that while most Egyptians are of mixed ancestry, especially in the Delta, there are still some Egyptians in rural areas who have preserved their ancient (black) phenotype.

Actually this photograph emphasizes the northern Egyptian Levant connection which is indisputable, although i see some "negroid" traits..
Course, when you get away from Cairo, Alexandria and other large cities which had been inundated by people from the Levant the appearance is usually different.

I should note that the osteological studies Smith cites (e.g. Keita 1996) were all done on ancient rather than modern remains. Why she calls them modern, I have no idea.
