I felt the same thing from reading about Nasser ... the way he was able to get the people going, his speeches hmmm... actually I couldn't put the book down until I was finished it - sleepless indeed :D But I have "chaired" some debates between Egyptian and Syrian (younger than me!) and they got fairly heated on the subject!
