A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife
stayed home. He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed:
"Dear Lord: I go to work every day and put in

8 hours while my wife merely stays at home.

I want her to know what I go through, so please
allow her body to switch with mine for a day. Amen.

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish. The next
morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman.

He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids,

Set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches,

Drove them to school, came home and picked up
the dry cleaning, took it to the cleaners

And stopped at the bank to make a deposit, went grocery shopping,

Then drove home to put away the groceries,

Paid the bills and balanced the checkbook.

He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog.

Then it was already 1 P.M. and he hurried to make the beds,
do the laundry, vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with
them on the way home.

Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework,

Then set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing.

At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad,
breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper.
After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded
laundry, bathed the kids, and put them to bed. At 9 P.M. he was exhausted
and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was
expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint.
The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said,
Lord,
I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife’s being
able to stay home all day. Please, oh please, let us trade back."
The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied, "My son, I feel you have learned
your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were.
You'll just have to wait nine months, though. You got pregnant last night."

I have my own business, and I can do much of the work from home on my own schedule, so when I marry I will without a doubt hire domestic help so I can share more time with my wife. Take the burden off of her and use my success to make her life easier! In doing so, it will make my life better as well :P I don't see how I can avoid spoiling her though...

HAHAHA! I am flattered but I don't think I am doing anything special... maybe it is not ordinary, but my grandfather did the same thing. I am now 28, and still believing in waiting for the right girl. (Many people do not seem to and tell me to just go ahead and marry.)

Ash, I sincerely hope your wife recovers quickly and fully. I myself had a "near-death experience" at 25 (hence my name Undead and my unconventional thinking on religions) and I know how it is to be completely debilitated.
I offer my sympathy and condolences to you and your wife.

ash, i am sorry for your wife, but u know, i envy u , sometimes i admire having my children like u do , although i am don't have any , but the idea is wonderful, especially babies, about the other stuff, look i am 27 now, 3 years ago, i was like a soft handed person , i choosed to leave my socity and i stayed in another city ( nearly a desert) for 2 years, i learned to cook , clean , wash , serve myself, needing no one, i guess folks it is a matter of experience we gain , nd situations we have to solve,
u can imagine now 3/4 of females in egypt know nothing at house keeping info. but imagine what they do when get married . really loves and responisibilities do miracles))))

You women are really flattering me, and I haven't even revealed that I am tall and stunning A woman choosing the name Gamilah has got something to live up to but it isn't wise to speak of beauty until comparing your looks to mine JUST JOKING!!! I said somewhere on this forum that I wasn't interested in an internet romance, but if many of you are meeting ensemble (as a group) in Qahira I would love to join you people as friends! Perhaps I should email those that have posted their address.?
